Double Trouble Chocolate Brownies

In an effort to find the PERFECT brownie recipe I cannot even begin to tell you how many batches I've made and then consumed. Finally the other day I made these (see below!)...and let me tell you they were AMAZING. They were gooey, and fudgy, and chocolaty, and every time you would take a bite of these little delish squares of chocolaty goodness..more chocolate would explode in your mouth!

I'd say these are the winner.

okok. back in action!!

I have been having some minor, scratch that, MAJOR issues with my laptop, and finally after a month of not using it and being in constant contact with Sony... I'm hoping the issue is resolved. :)

Anywaysssss. I have been cooking! Just not blogging. :/ But all of that is going to change now!!

Thanks for hanging in there!

Hot Hot Potato Wedges and Burgers

In the spirit of summer I am trying to grill a little bit more. This dish used both the indoor and outdoor grill (mostly because the corn is amazing when done outside...and that it takes up all the room on our little Webber, so the burgers were done on a grill pan).

This is definitely a winner on the indoor grill (except for the corn that has to be done outside). I mixed it up with the wedges too, because I LOVE sweet potatoes.

Heres the recipe for the Hot Hot Potato Wedges:

3 large baking potatoes
1/2 cup mayo
hot sauce, to taste (this is the heat!!)
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Preheat your oven to 375. Wash and cut the potatoes into wedge shapes. Mix all ingredients above and toss wedges in the mixture. Layout in a greased glass baking sheet and bake about 45 to 60 minutes.

Also... good tip...don't wash the baking dish right after you take it out of the oven...or it will end up in a million pieces like mine did and you will have to panic until your boyfriend (or girlfriend) cleans it up.
