  • Servings: 8
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) of flour
  • 1/2 cup(s) of sugar
  • 1/2 cup(s) of butter, chilled, cubed
  • 1/4 tsp. of salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup(s) of cold water
  • 8 ounce(s) of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup(s) of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp. of fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup(s) of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. of butter
  • 3 tbsp. of 100% pure apple juice
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) of seasonal fruit and/or berries
  1. To make the crust: in a large bowl or food processor, mix flour, sugar, salt, and chilled butter together until pea-size shapes form.
  2. Next, mix the egg yolk with the cold water until combined. Add to the flour and butter mixture and mix until a workable dough is formed.
  3. Once the dough is formed, pick it up into a loose ball with floured hands. Place into floured tart pan and begin to work the dough until it covers the bottom and sides of the pan.
  4. Set your oven to 375, and while the oven is preheating set the tart crust in the refrigerator. Once preheated, remove tart crust, prick the bottom of the tart crust with a fork, and place into the oven. Bake for 20 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
  5. Let the tart crust cool before filling.
  6. To prepare the filling: beat together softened Philadelphia Cream Cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and fresh lemon juice until light and silky.
  7. To prepare the caramel sauce, melt the butter in a small sauce pan with brown sugar and apple juice over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Once the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat.
  8. Once the tart crust is cool, smooth in the Philadelphia Cream Cheese filling and decorate with seasonal fruits and berries. Drizzle apple caramel sauce over entire tart. Serve.
