Awesomely Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies

Now these particular cookies are soft chocolate chip cookies, as requested. I personally prefer crunchy ones, but there is nothing like a super soft and gooey chocolate chip cookie! And you know what, these came out better than I expected them to.

The recipe and results for my Awesomely Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies are as follows:

2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup of butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.4 ounce) package of instant vanilla pudding (SECRET INGREDIENT!)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups (or to taste) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Tips: remember to use all ingredients at ROOM temperature. When incorporating the flour, add it in batches to avoid a giant mess. Also, use a tablespoon when dropping cookie dough onto the cookie sheet.

What to do: first, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Then sift together the flour and baking soda in a bowl, and set aside. In a large bowl, or electric mixer, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix. Once blended, stir in eggs and vanilla extract. Blend in flour. Then stir in the chocolate chips in.

Drop the cookies on to an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
